Pile foundations

Pile foundations are probably the most popular in Lithuania, as they may be quickly installed; also, the cost of materials and works is relatively small. However, if compared with slab foundations, although both may be called the foundations, a lot of works still remain to be done in the pile foundations to be able to compare them according to their price. The principle is that piles are drilled and concreted in the ground, and all poles are connected with a concrete beam, otherwise called the foundation cross. To reduce heat losses in the house, foam polyester must be laid down between the foundation cross and the ground. Façade polyester up to EPS 70 or poor quality polyester is no good because this polyester, due to water permeability or low density, disintegrates as a result of interaction with the ground, and is not durable.
